Refund Policy

  1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

    • To cancel your service contract with us; and
    • To a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion.

  2. Nature of Digital Services

QRitNow provides digital assets, including QR code generation, dynamic routing, and landing page hosting. These services are deemed "consumed" at the point of activation, generation, or download.

  3. Defining a "Major Failure"

In the context of QRitNow's digital environment, a Major Failure is strictly defined as:

    • Total Service Cessation: The QR code fails to resolve to the intended destination for a continuous period exceeding 48 hours due to an internal server fault.
    • Security Breach: A verified system-wide vulnerability that compromises the integrity of your destination data.
    • Non-Delivery: The system fails to generate the purchased digital asset within 24 hours of payment.
  4. Change of Mind

In accordance with the ACL, we do not offer refunds or credits for "Change of Mind". This includes, but is not limited to:

    • You no longer require the QR code or landing page.
    • Your marketing campaign or event was cancelled.
    • You found a similar service at a lower price elsewhere.
    • You mistakenly purchased the wrong subscription tier.
  5. Technical Exclusions (The "No-Fault" Clause)

QRitNow is not responsible for, and will not provide refunds for, issues arising from factors outside our direct control, including:

    • User Input Error: Incorrect URLs, spelling mistakes, or broken links provided by you during the creation process.
    • Scanning Limitations: Failure of a specific physical device, camera, or third-party scanning app to read a generated code.
    • Environmental Factors: Poor lighting, low print quality, or insufficient contrast on physical materials where the QR code is displayed.
    • Network Latency: Issues with the end-user's ISP, mobile carrier, or local firewall/VPN settings that prevent the landing page from loading.
    • Third-Party Blacklisting: If your destination URL is flagged as "Spam" or "Malicious" by browser security filters (e.g., Google Safe Browsing) due to the content you host.
  6. Subscription & Pro-Rata Refunds

    • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation stops the next scheduled payment; it does not trigger a refund for the current billing cycle.
    • Partial Usage: No pro-rata refunds are provided for partial months or unused "scan quotas."
    • Automatic Renewals: As per 2026 compliance standards, we provide clear notice of upcoming renewals. Failure to cancel before the billing date is considered a "Change of Mind."
  7. Dispute Process & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact support@qritnow.com before initiating a bank chargeback.

    • If a chargeback is initiated for a service that has been successfully delivered and used, we reserve the right to provide usage logs and "Proof of Delivery" to your financial institution.
    • Access to all digital assets (including active QR codes) will be immediately suspended pending the outcome of a payment dispute.
  8. How to Request a Refund

    1. Email support@qritnow.com within 7 days of the issue.
    2. Provide your Transaction ID and a testable URL/QR code that is failing.
    3. Our technical team will audit the logs. If a system-side failure is confirmed, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
